Trick or treating fun!

Texas was so excited for Halloween that he wore 3 different costumes over the weekend.

On Friday, he dressed as a zookeeper for storytime. Sorry, no pics of that one.

On Saturday, Texas dressed as a trash truck driver with his own trash truck for Luc's party. Daddy also dressed as a trash truck driver and Mommy dressed as a trash can.

On Sunday, he dressed as Superman. In a display of true superhuman prowess, Texas pulled his lady friends in a wagon around the block during the trick or treating fun. It was a great time!

The great pumpkin

The leaves are falling, the weather is cold, and autumn is here. Today was the perfect day for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch! Texas is a pro at picking out pumpkins and he wasted no time filing our wheel barrow with lots of his favorites. Then we visited the petting zoo and went on an exciting hay ride. Grandma and Grand-Daddee came, too. By the end of the day, Texas was ready for bed in his new spooky pajammies.

A Modern Stoneage Halloween!

Halloween 2009 was spooky and exciting and everything in between. Texas was a very polite and gracious trick-or-treater. He learned how to say trick-or-treat. He only took one piece of candy from our neighbors' stash, and he sometimes even put some of his own candy into their bowls. He said thank you to everyone and waved bye bye. He had one of mommy's chocolate covered marshmallows before bedtime and went right to sleep. (Meanwhile, we had trick-or-treaters up until 10:45 at night!)

The Great Pumpkin

Texas went to the pumpkin patch in search of the perfect pumpkin. After inspecting each one, visiting with the animals, and enjoying a hay ride throughout the entire farm, the perfect pumpkin was found. We are now ready for Halloween. Here are some pictures of that day.
