WOW!

Here's a little video we dusted off the archives this week. The original footage is from March, when Texas was just under a year old and just stretching his vocal chords. He hasn't said the word "Wow" in a few months, but we think he more than made up for that in the short amount of time in which this footage was taken.

Playing with fire

Tex's playgroup paid a visit to our local Fire Department: Mission Hills Engine Company No. 8. We toured the station, learned about fire safety from the team, and got to sit in the fire truck! Texas even received an honorary fireman's badge, which he promptly threw into the trash (which is really a compliment, coming from Texas).

Summer of swim

Texas completed his first swim class this summer. After two weeks of intense training, he learned to jump in the pool, kick his feet, and splash around. He received a certificate of completion at the end of the course. Here are some pictures of Texas swimming in his class and showing off his skillz at other pools.
