We took Texas to the pumpkin patch today. We saw a llama there and also a corn maze. Texas picked out his own pint-sized pumpkin. He also wanted to eat the hay. Dodo Jon is in town, which made everything even more fun.
Charlie, Susan, and Alex came to town for a visit from Santa Cruz. They saw all of San Diego in just four short days. Their favorite was Sea World. We all went to the Zoo together and had a great time in the petting zoo and the reptile house. Texas loves those goats! He also loves little Alex (he goes for older girls) and he can't wait for her to come back to San Diego.
The three of us enjoyed a great weekend together. On Saturday we went to San Diego's Cabrillo Monument and enjoyed the gorgeous view, not to mention the great weather. We also stopped by the tide pools at Sunset Cliffs. It was great to be together as a family.
On Sunday we visited Great Grandma Gladys. So many people were visiting at the same time: Aunt Deanna, Uncle Dale, Cousin Mia, Connor, Grandma Star, Grandy Barry, and Uncle Cliffy (Great-Grandma's brother from Chicago). It was a wonderful afternoon (unfortunately, we forgot the camera!).
Has it been 6 months already? Yes, it's true. Texas turned.5 years old last weekend. He's starting to talk, he's getting ready to crawl, and he's sleeping through the night (knock on wood!). He also loves to eat. So far, he has eaten peas, carrots, squash, green beans, sweet potatoes, apples, pears, and bananas. He loves them all!
Here is a 2 minute video of some of his latest adventures. Enjoy!
