A Happy Thanksgiving

This was my first Thanksgiving. Everyone came to my house to celebrate with me, including Auntie Samanthi, Uncle Patrick, my cousins Benjamin and Max, Dodo Jon, Doda Jess, GramZ, PawZ, Auntie Danielle, Grandma Star, Grandpa Barry, and Auntie Daner. Mommy and my two grandmas made a delicious feast, and Daddy carved the turkey. I can't wait until next year when I can eat everything myself!

16 people attended our dinner.
Auntie Samanthi won the contest that gave her this hand-painted plate as a prize.
Daddy carved the turkey while PawZ waited in anticipation. Finally, the turkey makes a grand appearance!
Mommy and Doda Jess entertained us with a duet.
By the end of the night, we were all pooped. Especially PawZ and Poppy. Happy Thanksgiving! See you next year!!

A visit from the East Coast Zubees

Daddy's family visited us in San Diego for an entire week. GramZ, PawZ, Auntie Danielle, Dodo Jon, and Doda Jess spent Thanksgiving week with us. We went to Balboa Park, the beach, and the mall. We had a great time. I can't wait to see them again! Here are some pictures of our favorite times.

A Happy Halloween

We enjoyed a perfect Halloween evening this year. The festivities started the night before Halloween when Texas practiced trick-or-treating around the cul-de-sac. The firemen at our local firehouse loved his glow-in-the-dark skeleton costume!

Our family dressed as Mets baseball players for Halloween night (Piccadilly came as the San Diego Chicken). Texas's favorite part was his inflatable bat. Our first stop was a party next door. Then we went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Texas collected loads of candy and everyone loved his costume. We met up with his girlfriend, Sofia, and her sister, Hannah. They were dressed as a chicken and egg.

By the end of the night, Texas had changed into his final costume of the evening. What else? A pumpkin!

Here are a few pictures of all the fun. Enjoy!
