Texas builds a house, part 1

The five of us survived the first week of our remodel. Texas, Mommy, and Daddy stayed at Grandma Star's home for the week while Piccadilly and Poppy watched the house. The first week was devoted to lead-based demolition. A special team of lead experts set up a fancy quarantine facility that included their own shower! They removed the windows, doors, and walls from the back room, Tex's room, and the kitchen. All that's left is the siding. Texas inspected their work when we returned to the house on Friday night.

The next step is a full demolition of the structure's remnants. So it's back to Grandma's we go!

One other lovely addition to our house this week: the installation of a port-o-potty on our front lawn. This remodel is adding value to our house already!
