Happy Strawberry!

It was Daddy's birthday today. We celebrated by letting him sleep late, going to the New Children's Museum, and then having lunch at Richard Walker's Pancake house. Poor Texas was really sick, so the festivities came to a quick end in the afternoon. But he was well enough that evening to enjoy Daddy's cake, which he had picked out himself. (Texas also instructed what message to inscribe on the top.)

Tex's cousin Benjamin held a special Jedi training at his birthday party today. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader were there. The young Paduans, including Master Texas-Yoda, learned how to defend themselves with a light saber, how to use a "force push" on siths and other empire representatives, and how to use the Force in general to thwart the dark side. We all had a great time.

Tex's Pajama Party!

Texas had a pajama party on his 2nd birthday. All of his friends came to the party in their pajamas. Chocolate chip pancakes and champagne mimosas abounded. A fun time was had by all. Here is a short slideshow with our favorite memories from that day. Enjoy!

Tex's 1st Birthday Party!

Texas's first birthday party was on April 4th, 2009. At the party we had a horse, lots of animals, a band, a big sign with his name on it, a Texas-shaped cake, hamburgers & hot dogs, lots of friends, and hardly any tears. Aunti Samanthi's Birthday

We celebrated Aunti Samanthi's birthday in LA this weekend. The whole family went to Factor's Famous Deli. Texas got to play with his cousins, Benjamin and Max. It was a great time. The highlight of the night was meeting "Sex and the City" actor, Evan Handler, who held the door open for us on our way in. This was Tex's first celebrity sighting!
