Ding went the trolley!

Texas and Mommy took a ride out to El Cajon on the trolley rails. Grandma Star met us at the station and we spent the day at the mall. We had a great time!

The great pumpkin

The leaves are falling, the weather is cold, and autumn is here. Today was the perfect day for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch! Texas is a pro at picking out pumpkins and he wasted no time filing our wheel barrow with lots of his favorites. Then we visited the petting zoo and went on an exciting hay ride. Grandma and Grand-Daddee came, too. By the end of the day, Texas was ready for bed in his new spooky pajammies.

Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

A picnic with ducks

Texas got his haircut today. Afterward, Grandma and Grand-Daddee joined us for a picnic at the park. We watched the ducks play in the water and then had fun at the playground. It was a great day.

A duck on the shoulder is worth two in The Home Depot.

Today Texas saw a man carrying a cockatoo on his shoulder at The Home Depot. He loved it and has not since stopped talking about the bird. However, the story in Tex's interpretation has morphed into the encounter being at Michael's, and the bird in question being a duck. These are the musings of an (almost) two-year old boy.

Here are some pictures from this past week:

(Special thanks to Grandma and Grand-Daddee
for Tex's early birthday present,
and to Daddy and Grand-Daddee for assembling it today!!!)
