Thanksgiving at the Zoo!

Texas spent Thanksgiving at the Zoo with his cousins, Max and Benjamin. After playing in the playground and riding the buckets across the park, we had a leisurely stroll through the elephants. We had just enough time to visit the friendly goats and sheep in the petting zoo.

We all worked up an appetite worthy of kings, and that's how we ate that night. Grandma Star and Grand-Daddee made a delicious spread, complete with maple-bacon smoked turkey, stuffed sweet potatoes, corn-bread stuffing (the best ever!), and three different desserts. It was a delicious way to end the day!
