Texas in New York

Texas made his first visit to GramZ and PawZ's house in New York this week. In addition to traveling outside his native state for the first time, this trip marked Tex's first time on a plane and a boat. The three of us flew into Boston to visit Mommy and Daddy's teams at work, and then drove to Sayville by way of the Bridgeport Port ferry.

Once in Sayville, GramZ, PawZ and Auntie Danielle spoiled Texas like a rotten tomato. He was the king of the house, the sire of Sayville, the fruit of the loom. We all had a wonderful time, especially at his welcoming BBQ on Sunday. Friends and family traveled from near and far to meet little Tex for the first time. One highlight was meeting his cousin Hazard, who is only a few weeks older than Tex.

Another highlight was visiting GramZ and Auntie Danielle at their places of work. With so many pictures and shameless plugs preceding his visit, Texas was already a well known celebrity amongst their coworkers. Auntie Danielle also hooked Texas up with his very first library card - cool.

With so many wonderful memories on this trip, we are sure to come back asap.
