Showers of Pink!

Samantha threw me the most wonderful baby girl shower this weekend. My friends from the playgroup were all there. The lunch was delicious; the diaper centerpiece was phenomenal; and the presents were all pink and frilly! Now I'm really excited to have a baby girl. One particular highlight of the day was receiving a gift from Great-Grandma Gladys, who had purchased a pink Mud Pie porcelain box for the first grand-daughter in our family. Amazing that she found a way to get it to our baby, even though she never had the chance to meet her.

A Baby Shower

My sister, Samantha, gave me the most beautiful baby shower imaginable. It happened on February 23rd at JRDN restaurant in Pacific Beach, San Diego. Friends and family from near and far joined us there. Here are a few pictures taken that day.
